Day 12 - Boothbay, ME (Day 2)

We extended the stay in Boothbay a day.

The Route
We drove 4 miles into Boothbay Harbor and back.

About the Day
It was sunny, cool and calm.  Dick is feeling crummy with cold symptoms.  Carol did laundry.

Along the Way
The cod may have left Boothbay Harbor, but tourists haven't.  The downtown is packed with shops, restaurants and tour boats.

This flower display along ME-27 brightened the way.

Boothbay Harbor views ...

Lunch on Tugboat Inn's sun deck offered new seafood fare.

Ornes Candy Shop couldn't hide from Carol's careful inspection.

Captain Sawyers Place decorates the downtown and harbor area.

The Campground
This place sure looks better when the sun's out.
Site #9
Tomorrow
We're heading west to view some scenic routes suggested by Bruce Smith.  Pennesseewassee Lake (we've checked the spelling multiple times) is on the itinerary.
