Overnight Check at Alum Creek State Park

We checked into site B11 at Alum Creek State Park for an overnight check of the systems and to fill the water tank.

Everything checked out.  We washed the windows and did our standard, 30-minute windex/microfiber towel interior cleaning.

We had enough time to drive to AAA in Upper Arlington for maps and tour guides, and to Camping World in London for a current "Good Sam Campground Directory".

Pictures ...
Just about ready to leave our storage area.
This curious visitor stopped by the site at sunset.

Water, water, water everywhere.
Right hose - shore water in
Left hose - fresh water tank filling
Left of front tire - A/C condensation draining

Tuesday morning hook-up
About food ...
We didn't bring food because it was a one night stop, then back to the storage lot for three days.  Eating out was more appealing than loading, cooking, cleaning up and unloading food.
Dinner - at Der Dutchman in Plain City
Breakfast - at Corner Cafe in Delaware

About loading and unloading ...
We hauled stuff from the Highland Street address to the storage lot and back again for eleven years.  Each load and unload took 2 to 3 trips, 7.5 miles each way.

It's different now.  We take the trailer to the Thurber Tower parking lot and load it there.  We transport stuff from the apartment using a valet cart.  What a time and energy saver!
